Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Moore (ranked 5205 p4p, 5229 weight class) and Narayan Nassau (ranked 577 p4p, 578 weight class). Narayan Nassau has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ryan Moore's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Narayan Nassau! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nassau takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nassau lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Moore takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Nassau scores with a crisp jab that stopped Moore in his tracks. Nassau scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Moore doesn't seem bothered though. Moore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nassau as he jumps to the side. Nassau closes the distance and clinches. Nassau stalling the fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nassau lands a right hand that snaps the head of Moore backwards. Moore wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nassau breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nassau has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Moore is landing a low percentage of strikes. Nassau digs a good body shot into Moore's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore tries to clinch up but Nassau circles away and keeps his distance. Nassau instigates a clinch. A right hand to the body from Nassau.

Nassau lands with a hook. Moore tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Nassau wants to slow Moore down by chopping away at his legs. Nassau dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Moore shoots in for a takedown but Nassau shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nassau lands a right hook to the body.

Moore is looking to break free of the clinch but Nassau has double underhooks. Moore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nassau smiles and moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moore just misses with a punch to the body.
Nassau clinches up with Moore and pushes him back against the cage. Nassau escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nassau tries a quick counter leg kick but Moore is wise to it. Moore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nassau gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Moore to score an easy takedown into full guard. Moore stopping the sweep attempt from Nassau. Nassau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore throws a big right hand that misses. Moore missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Moore trying to control but Nassau is working from the bottom. Nassau wants to hit a sweep here but Moore passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nassau there! Moore looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nassau keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Moore controlling his opponent. Nassau is in a horrible position here. Moore smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Moore takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Moore working Nassau over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Narayan Nassau dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Nassau circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moore throws a right and a left that both miss. Moore looks for a takedown but Nassau sprawls well. Nassau gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nassau breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nassau motions for Moore to come forward. Nassau throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nassau is looking to score with low kicks. Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nassau's waist but Nassau gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side. Nassau scores with a crisp jab that stopped Moore in his tracks. Nassau scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Narayan Nassau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moore fails to land the takedown. Moore throws a hook to the side of Nassau's head but Nassau sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Moore works Nassau's body with a nice hook. The fight stays on the outside here - Moore looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Moore takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Moore walks into a left hand. Nassau lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Moore takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nassau closes the distance and pushes Moore back into the cage. Moore has Nassau pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nassau manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Nassau breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nassau scores with a one two! Moore had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Moore with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nassau to score with a decent uppercut. Nassau cracks Moore with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The fight stays on the outside here - Moore looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nassau lands a jab-cross combination. Nassau misses with a hook. Moore ducked under it nicely. Moore has his takedown stuffed and Nassau counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Moore takes a jab right on the kisser.

Moore blocks a low kick nicely. Moore attempts a counter takedown but Nassau avoids it well and moves away. Nassau lands a nice leg kick that just misses Moore's sensitive parts. Nassau digs a good body shot into Moore's ribs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice body punch from Nassau. Moore fails with a takedown attempt. Nassau stuffs the takedown attempt from Moore. Moore gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nassau scores to the head and body with a nice combination! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Narayan Nassau showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Nassau throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moore stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nassau smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Nassau with a body punch. A glancing blow. A right-left combo lands from Nassau.
Moore is rocked! Moore checks a low kick from Nassau. Oh Moore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nassau connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A leg kick checked by Moore. Nassau fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Moore checks it well. Nassau throws a solid leg kick but Moore takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nassau. Nassau fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Moore checks it well. Nassau connects with a solid leg kick. Moore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nassau circles away. Nassau lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moore walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Nassau misses with a wild combination.
Nassau fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Moore to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Moore looks to clinch but Nassau throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Moore taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
