Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Banner (ranked 4029 p4p, 5768 weight class) and Tyler Alvarez (ranked 442 p4p, 543 weight class). Lamont Banner looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Alvarez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Banner on his heels. He'll look to pass Banner's guard now, I'm sure.
Alvarez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Alvarez stands and throws Banner's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banner is looking to get back to his feet here but Alvarez is keeping cool and he's managed to take Banner's back.
Well, with Alvarez on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Banner is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Banner is trying to defend against the choke here but Alvarez has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Alvarez Tightens the hold and Banner taps out furiously! Alvarez displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
