Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between James King (ranked 23054 p4p, 3805 weight class) and Darren Tellkins (ranked 630 p4p, 431 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tellkins's choice of entrance music: Stunna 4 Vegas - Punch me in Pt 4. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Tellkins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tellkins might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Tellkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as King throws out the jab.
King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tellkins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
King looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
King needs to keep his hands up - Tellkins had a free shot at his head there.

Tellkins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

As Tellkins looks to move away, King throws a big counter combo but Tellkins just gets out of the way.
King walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice side step and Tellkins releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

I would just about give that final round to Darren Tellkins.
Well Tellkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
