Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Teppo Taavitsainen (ranked 5778 p4p, 4503 weight class) and Mickey Molton (ranked 534 p4p, 483 weight class). Molton has chosen Faneto as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Taavitsainen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Taavitsainen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Molton feints the counter takedown.
Molton darts in and clinches Taavitsainen up against the cage.

Molton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Taavitsainen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Taavitsainen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Taavitsainen!
Molton felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Molton parries the strikes from Taavitsainen easily there. Taavitsainen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Molton to escape.
Molton can't do much from the bottom here.
Taavitsainen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Molton on the ground.
