Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strauss closes the distance and clinches up with Dzagoev, looking for a takedown. Strauss pushes Dzagoev against the cage but Dzagoev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dzagoev blocks a jab.
Dzagoev throws a one two combo.
It looks like Logan Strauss has been cut.
Strauss swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Dzagoev and Strauss goes tumbling to the canvas! Dzagoev follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Strauss is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strauss is looking for a sweep. Dzagoev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Strauss wants to get back to his feet.
Strauss looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Strauss actively working from the bottom here.

Dzagoev passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Strauss!
Strauss wants to hold on but Dzagoev pushes him away.
Dzagoev prevents Strauss from getting the reversal.
Dzagoev controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Strauss is trying to reverse the position but instead Dzagoev has taken his back - oops!
Strauss is in bad spot here.
Strauss breaks Dzagoev's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Strauss accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dzagoev keeping full guard, as Strauss tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Strauss throwing strikes from guard but Dzagoev blocks nicely.
Strauss sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dzagoev's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Strauss wants to pass to mount but Dzagoev is defending the position.
Dzagoev wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Strauss seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dzagoev is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
