Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Quiniou (ranked 2402 p4p, 2886 weight class) and Wilfred Keter (ranked 252 p4p, 290 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brendan Quiniou! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wilfred Keter! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Quiniou is out of range and Keter settles back down. Quiniou feinted with a counter takedown. Nice defenses there by Quiniou. Wilfred Keter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quiniou tries to score a power double leg takedown but Keter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Quiniou somewhat. Quiniou takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice combination there by Keter.
It looks like Brendan Quiniou has been cut. Keter lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Quiniou walks into a left hand. Keter fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quiniou takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Quiniou looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Keter lands a lovely overhand right. Quiniou checks the leg kick nicely there.
Keter thuds his right hand into Quiniou's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Keter cracks Quiniou with a good jab. Keter scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Keter works over Quiniou's head and body with a nice combination. Keter misses with a leg kick and Quiniou counters with a single leg into guard. Keter didn't expect that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Quiniou trying to control but Keter is working from the bottom. Keter trying to keep a closed guard but Quiniou is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quiniou wants to pass the guard but Keter is keeping the position. Keter keeping moving, preventing Quiniou from controlling successfully. Quiniou postures up.
Quiniou trying to control the position from guard on top but Keter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quiniou is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Keter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Keter has escaped and now he's on top!
Keter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Keter is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Quiniou has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Keter is looking to defend but Quiniou has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Keter! Quiniou pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Keter taps out and this one is all over!
