Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jaka Prawira (ranked 3841 p4p, 3170 weight class) and Tom Trayans (ranked 439 p4p, 378 weight class). Trayans is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Non-Natty Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaka Prawira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Trayans! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trayans throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Trayans dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prawira. That did some damage! Prawira ducks under a wild hook from Trayans. Prawira changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Prawira feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prawira missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Prawira loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Prawira tries to free his leg and advance position but Trayans is retaining full guard. Prawira is working hard here to advance position. Prawira trying to control but Trayans is working from the bottom. Prawira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prawira is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Trayans is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prawira controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Prawira wants to control from the top but Trayans keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Prawira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trayans pinned against the cage. Trayans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A combination from Trayans does no damage. Trayans displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Trayans throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prawira sees it coming and avoids it easily. Trayans misses with the combination.
Prawira tries to clinch up but Trayans circles away and keeps his distance. Trayans with the inside leg kick. Trayans misses with a few strikes there.
Tom Trayans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Trayans pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prawira pushes Trayans up against the cage in a clinch. Prawira tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Trayans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Prawira clinches up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Trayans breaks from the clinch.
Prawira misses with a takedown attempt - Trayans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaka Prawira. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Trayans. Trayans throws an overhand right that lands on Prawira's shoulder, as Prawira tries to avoid the shot. A momentary lapse in concentration from Trayans enables Prawira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trayans manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Prawira drops back, looking for a kneebar! Trayans looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Trayans looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Trayans! Prawira sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prawira looking for subs from the bottom but Trayans mounts him! Prawira keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Prawira swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Trayans is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Prawira holds on for dear life, controlling Trayans's posture momentarily. Prawira wants to hold on but Trayans pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prawira is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Prawira tries to hold on but Trayans pushes him away. Prawira bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Trayans wants to get back to his feet but Prawira passes into half guard.
Prawira wants to free his trapped foot but Trayans is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Trayans dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Prawira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Trayans tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Prawira jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Trayans manages to avoid the submission attempt. Prawira is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Trayans knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Prawira scoring with punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prawira wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Trayans, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prawira tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Prawira has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Trayans bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Prawira fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Trayans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Prawira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Prawira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Trayans delivers a nice body kick. Tom Trayans is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trayans throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Trayans looks for the body kick but Prawira saw that one coming. Prawira avoids the body shot from Trayans.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prawira forces Trayans back against the cage and clinches. Trayans escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trayans has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Prawira moves out of range as Trayans strikes. Trayans throws a body shot but no joy. Trayans throws a sloppy head kick and Prawira moves out of range easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Prawira wants to clinch. Prawira sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Trayans just misses with a punch to the body.
Prawira takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Trayans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trayans stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prawira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Trayans's guard. Trayans wants to stand up but Prawira is controlling him. Jaka Prawira overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Prawira drops back looking for a leg! Trayans is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trayans manages to kick Prawira off! Prawira jumps back into Trayans's guard. Prawira drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Trayans dives on top into guard.
Trayans got a little sloppy there for a moment and Prawira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trayans has managed to get both his arms back between Prawira's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prawira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Trayans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Prawira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Prawira controls Trayans momentarily but Trayans frees himself. Trayans trying to stand up but can't free himself from Prawira's guard. Prawira has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Trayans should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Prawira has tightened it up now! Trayans should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
