Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Goops (ranked 5013 p4p, 7004 weight class) and Derrick Buchannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buchannon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunderstruck ACDC. Derrick Buchannon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Buchannon connects with a solid leg kick.
Goops takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Goops is looking to clinch but Buchannon is avoiding it.
Buchannon pushes Goops up against the cage in a clinch.
Buchannon is trying to drag Goops to the mat but Goops just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Buchannon goes for a takedown attempt but Goops pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Goops has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Goops throws a poor cross that misses
and Buchannon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Buchannon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Buchannon duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buchannon lands a two punch combo.
Buchannon throws a left that rocks Goops and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Buchannon dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Goops regain composure!
Goops is rocked!
Buchannon has hold of Goops's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Goops seems comfortable defending it but Buchannon has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Goops is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Goops is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Buchannon couldn't care less - he's delighted!
