The crowd cheers as Alcala lands an impressive looking overhand right. DeSilva doesn't seem phased though.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Alcala looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Alcala feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeSilva sprawling to the canvas! DeSilva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Alcala finish him?!

DeSilva is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alcala lands an uppercut, right on the button! DeSilva tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

A very excited looking Rodney Alcala rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
