Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Astro Traveller (ranked 229 p4p, 267 weight class) and Sambulo Yeboah (ranked 15 p4p, 18 weight class). Traveller comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. Yeboah has chosen Lionel Richie - All Night Long as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Yeboah shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Traveller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yeboah to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Traveller is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Heavy Metal that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Traveller is pressed up against the cage. Yeboah has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Traveller down to the mat. Traveller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Astro Traveller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sambulo Yeboah.
Traveller motions for Yeboah to come forward. Traveller throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Yeboah has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Traveller manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Yeboah keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Yeboah shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Traveller pinned against the cage. Traveller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yeboah uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Traveller.
Yeboah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Traveller but Traveller pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Yeboah is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Yeboah shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Traveller's guard.
Traveller has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Yeboah off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Yeboah shoots for a double leg takedown but Traveller sprawls well. He's pushed Yeboah's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Traveller uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Yeboah is rocked!
Yeboah takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Yeboah is still on wobbly legs! Can Traveller finish him?
Traveller fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Yeboah to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Yeboah looks to clinch but Traveller throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Yeboah taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Astro Traveller decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
