Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Kulik (ranked 1918 p4p, 1423 weight class) and Chief Claw (ranked 238 p4p, 184 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Kulik lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kulik lands with a hook. Claw tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Claw misses with a takedown attempt - Kulik sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kulik has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Claw is on him like a limpet, forcing Kulik back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Claw has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Claw keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kulik's efforts to push away.
