Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kao Toan (ranked 6011 p4p, 4864 weight class) and Dwayne Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kao Toan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dwayne Leonard's chin.

Leonard scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Toan pushes Leonard off but Leonard dives into side control.
Toan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Toan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leonard on the ground.
Toan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Toan seems a little lost for a moment, as Leonard dominates the positioning.

Leonard stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonard walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Toan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Toan clinches with his opponent.
Leonard is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Toan is defending well for now.

Leonard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leonard throws the kick towards the body but Toan avoids it.

Leonard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Leonard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Leonard's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Leonard stands and throws Toan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Leonard throws a strike aimed at the side of Toan's head but Toan avoids it well.

Toan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Leonard dives in and grabs Toan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Toan pushes down on Leonard's head and hops out.
Toan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Leonard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Leonard gets tackled into the cage by Toan. Toan maintains the clinch.
Leonard takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Dwayne Leonard has been cut.
Leonard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Toan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Leonard's efforts to push away.
Toan misses with a knee strike.

Leonard pulls guard effortlessly.
Toan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Leonard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Toan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Toan gets to his feet - Leonard follows without any prompting.
Leonard looks winded!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Toan manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Toan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Leonard shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Toan looks like he's trying to stand up.

Leonard escapes and gets back to his feet.

Leonard throws a solid leg kick but Toan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Leonard.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leonard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Toan rushes Leonard and presses him up against the cage.

Leonard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Leonard manages to end up in side control.

Leonard has hold of Toan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Toan seems comfortable defending it but Leonard has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Toan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Toan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Leonard couldn't care less - he's delighted!
