With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Atilla The Hunn! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korev gets a clinch. Korev has hold of one of The Hunn's legs. The Hunn is fighting the takedown attempt but Korev gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Korev slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Korev wants to stand but The Hunn is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Hunn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Korev is aware though and is defending well. The Hunn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Korev's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Korev tries to free his leg and advance position but The Hunn is retaining full guard. The Hunn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Korev lands a couple of elbows. The Hunn has momentary wrist control but Korev slips an elbow through the middle. Korev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Hunn on the ground. Korev thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Hunn is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Korev has his hands clasped together but The Hunn extends and breaks Korev's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by The Hunn.
