Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bullet (ranked 706 p4p, 809 weight class) and Ruslan Karelin (ranked 25 p4p, 29 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Bullet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruslan Karelin!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

Bullet takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Karelin tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bullet counters with a leg kick.
Bullet displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Karelin.
Bullet fires out a quick counter leg kick but Karelin just manages to avoid it.
Karelin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bullet walks into a jab.
Bullet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karelin moves away.
Karelin lands with a straight right. Bullet didn't see that one coming.
Karelin digs a good body shot into Bullet's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bullet tries to close the distance and clinch but Karelin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Karelin tries to clinch up but Bullet circles away and keeps his distance.

Bullet leaves Karelin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bullet has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Karelin is on him like a limpet, forcing Bullet back against the cage.

A right hook to the body lands for Bullet.
Karelin utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Bullet tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Karelin goes for a takedown attempt but Bullet pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bullet wants to land a leg kick but Karelin is out of range.

and Bullet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bullet lands with a thumping leg kick.
Karelin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Karelin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Karelin swings for the body but Bullet moves out of range.

A low kick from Bullet is predictable there
enabling Karelin to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Karelin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Bullet fails to land.
Bullet trying to control the position but instead, Karelin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bullet into the cage.
Bullet tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bullet jumps guard but Karelin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Karelin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bullet prevents it.

Karelin lands a nice hook to Bullet's body. Bullet takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Karelin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Bullet can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Karelin controls the pace.

Karelin lands a big shot there that rocks Bullet but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Karelin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bullet's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bullet is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Karelin is controlling him.

Bullet throws a head punch that misses.

Karelin wants a takedown but no success here.
Karelin is leaning against Bullet and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Bullet throws a punch but it's blocked by Karelin.
Bullet lands a left hand.
Bullet fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Karelin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bullet tries to pull guard but Karelin holds him up against the cage and eventually Bullet drops back down to his feet.

Ruslan Karelin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Karelin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ruslan Karelin tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
