Moreira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Musashi circles away quickly and effectively.
Ishida Musashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut there from Moreira.
Musashi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Musashi.
Musashi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moreira sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moreira can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Musashi swings around for an armbar but Moreira sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Musashi's guard.
Musashi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Musashi is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Moreira has his hands clasped together but Musashi extends and breaks Moreira's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Musashi.
