Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hallis Mollen (ranked 689 p4p, 638 weight class) and Jarred Reich (ranked 96 p4p, 86 weight class). Mollen's entrance music is Rise Against - Like the Angel. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Hallis Mollen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hallis Mollen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reich shoots in for a double leg but Mollen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mollen.

Reich shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mollen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've been hearing good reports from Mollen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mollen gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Reich shoots in looking for a takedown but Mollen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reich's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jarred Reich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Reich feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
