Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dwight Schrute!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wesley Poker!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

Poker looks for a takedown but Schrute sprawls well.

Schrute gets caught napping as Poker dives in and scores a takedown. Schrute manages to retain guard.

Schrute wriggles free and stands up.

and Poker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Schrute looking to hit a scissor sweep but Poker is one step ahead there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Schrute is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Poker defends well.
Schrute pulls Poker in close to his closed guard and prevents Poker from doing any damage or advancing position.

Schrute is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Poker dives into side control.
You can see the frustration on Schrute's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Schrute pushes Poker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Poker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Schrute wants to control but Poker postures up.
Schrute is looking for a sweep.
Schrute can't do much from the bottom here.
We've been hearing good reports from Schrute's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Schrute is not content to let Poker control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schrute manages to work his way to half guard, despite Poker's best efforts.
Schrute is looking to control Poker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schrute avoid being mounted?

Poker trying to control but Schrute is working from the bottom.
Poker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Poker content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Poker stands up.
A telegraphed right hand from Schrute misses the target.
Schrute misses with a looping right.
Poker with the counter takedown but Schrute avoids it easily.
Schrute throws a lazy right hand but Poker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Poker feints the counter takedown.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Schrute takes one to the side of the head.

Poker lands a big uppercut and Schrute crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Schrute looks OK. Poker waves Schrute back to his feet!

Schrute is rocked!

It looks like Dwight Schrute has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Schrute is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Poker lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Schrute up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Poker from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Schrute's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wesley Poker!
An out of breath Wesley Poker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
