Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Zawisza Czarny (ranked 6358 p4p, 22630 weight class) and Connor McDavid (ranked 529 p4p, 605 weight class). Czarny comes to the ring accompanied by Children of the revolution. Connor McDavid is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

McDavid throws a looping overhand right but Czarny ducks down to avoid it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Czarny crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McDavid - the referee stops the clock and Czarny gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McDavid. Czarny manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Czarny throws a series of punches but McDavid avoids them all with ease.
Czarny scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

McDavid lands a good knee to the midsection. Czarny won't want to take too many of those.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, McDavid creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

McDavid has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Czarny seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if McDavid can turn it around.

I was talking to Czarny's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Czarny tries to break the clinch but McDavid is controlling the position.
Czarny is trying to push McDavid away but McDavid has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

McDavid digs a right hand into Czarny's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Czarny's gas tank.

McDavid creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Czarny crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Czarny face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! McDavid takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
