Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Crazy Horse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sohrab Bahmanzade! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Bahmanzade misses. Horse staying out of range there. Horse moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Horse ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. As Bahmanzade tries to get set, Horse tries to push him back and clinch up but Bahmanzade manages to avoid the attempt. Bahmanzade lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bahmanzade misses with a right hand and Horse counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bahmanzade needs to keep his hands up - Horse had a free shot at his head there. Bahmanzade looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bahmanzade takes a swing at Horse's ribcage but misses. An attempted straight right counter from Horse misses the target. Horse connects with a crisp jab. Horse avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Horse lands a nice shot that snaps Bahmanzade's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Horse scores with a hook to the body. Bahmanzade takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Horse fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Horse throws a combination. Bahmanzade tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bahmanzade is rocked! Horse uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bahmanzade is still on wobbly legs! Can Horse finish him? Horse drops Bahmanzade with a huge uppercut! Bahmanzade drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Horse is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crazy Horse! Crazy Horse seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
