Buchannon comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck ACDC. Derrick Buchannon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Martial Mind's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.

Buchannon throws a nice looking combination but Mind bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buchannon tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mind scores with a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Buchannon as Mind shoots in.
Derrick Buchannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mind shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buchannon as he avoids it easily.

Mind throws a fast counter high kick but Buchannon manages to duck under it in time.

Buchannon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Mind wants to control from the top but Buchannon keeps moving.
Mind is looking to stand up but Buchannon won't let him.

Mind got a little sloppy there for a moment and Buchannon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mind has managed to get both his arms back between Buchannon's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mind shoots in for a double leg but Buchannon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mind uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Buchannon.

Buchannon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Buchannon throws a solid leg kick but Mind takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Buchannon.

Mind throws a right hand that Buchannon ducks under and follows up with a left that Buchannon also avoids with ease.
Mind gets caught napping as Buchannon dives in and scores a takedown. Mind manages to retain guard.

Buchannon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Buchannon is looking to chop away at Mind's legs.
Mind throws a series of strikes that have Buchannon backpedaling.
Buchannon throws a low kick but Mind moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Buchannon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mind ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Buchannon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mind looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Buchannon is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mind is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Mind is looking to regain half guard here but Buchannon keeps moving and retains side control.
Buchannon lands a decent elbow from side control.
You can see the frustration on Mind's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Check out the look on Buchannon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Buchannon cracks Mind with a big right hand but Mind just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Buchannon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mind down.
Mind is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Buchannon is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Buchannon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Buchannon moves into the clinch.
Buchannon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mind pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mind throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Buchannon's head.
Mind shoots in for a takedown but Buchannon shows good takedown defense.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mind.
Buchannon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mind!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buchannon trying to control the position but Mind is working away.
Mind really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buchannon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Buchannon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Buchannon is working to tighten his grip on Mind's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mind has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Buchannon is really squeezing tight and eventually Mind passes out! Buchannon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
