Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Saprykin (ranked 1098 p4p, 850 weight class) and LL Jay (ranked 175 p4p, 137 weight class). LL Jay told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.

Saprykin scores with a hook.
Saprykin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Saprykin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jay avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little jabbing left from Jay on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jay, as that shot connected.

Jay thuds his right hand into Saprykin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Saprykin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jay eats them both and turns towards Saprykin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
