PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Daniel (ranked 2488 p4p, 2733 weight class) and Tyrion Lannister (ranked 329 p4p, 360 weight class). Lannister has chosen Feel the Same by Battle Tapes as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Tyrion Lannister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lannister lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Daniel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Daniel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Daniel counters with a crisp one two that drops Lannister! Daniel thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lannister to his feet! Lannister is in big trouble!

Daniel tries to counter with a takedown but Lannister is quick to defend against it.
Lannister closes the distance and clinches up with Daniel, looking for a takedown. Lannister pushes Daniel against the cage but Daniel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Daniel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Lannister shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lannister showed some decent athleticism there.

Daniel is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lannister throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Daniel's body to avoid the submission. Daniel has instead reached around Lannister's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Daniel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
