Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thai Boxer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steven Petersen! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Petersen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Boxer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Petersen checks a leg kick. Boxer dodges the punch combination from Petersen.
Boxer throws a good cross that connects.
Boxer misses with a head kick.
Petersen lands the left hand. A cross from Boxer lands. Petersen scores with a nice head shot. Boxer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Petersen blocks a jab. Boxer thows a left - swing and a miss! Boxer scores with a one two! Petersen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Steven Petersen has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Petersen throws the left hand but Boxer avoids the punch easily. Boxer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Boxer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Petersen just misses with a punch to the body.
Boxer misses with a looping left. Boxer moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petersen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boxer throws out the jab. Petersen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Good shot there by Petersen. Boxer misses with a two punch combination.
Petersen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Petersen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boxer. Petersen tries a quick counter leg kick but Boxer is wise to it. Petersen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boxer at a distance.
Petersen loads up on a big right hand but Boxer slips the punch. Boxer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Good shot there by Boxer. Boxer avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A telegraphed right hand from Boxer misses the target. Petersen lands with a nice body punch. Petersen lunges at Boxer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boxer's hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Petersen slips under a jab from Boxer. Boxer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Petersen.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick from Petersen, right into the meat of the thigh.

Boxer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Petersen works the jab nicely. Danga de danga de dang - Petersen scores with a four punch combination! Petersen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Boxer is rocked! Boxer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Boxer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Petersen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Petersen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Petersen drops Boxer with a big left hand! Boxer is injured, injured bad! Petersen jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven Petersen! In his post fight interview, Steven Petersen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. In defeat, Thai Boxer stepped up to the mic, saying 'Oh sh#t 🔥'.
