Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kleen (ranked 2935 p4p, 25193 weight class) and Bsmds Nasmfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bsmds Nasmfus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dan Kleen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bsmds Nasmfus! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nasmfus slips a jab from Kleen. Nasmfus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kleen swats him away and circles back towards the center. It looked like Kleen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kleen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nasmfus fails in his attempt to clinch. Nasmfus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kleen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kleen looks to land a left hand but Nasmfus moved out of range nicely. Nasmfus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Bsmds Nasmfus has been cut. Kleen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kleen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nasmfus is looking to clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nasmfus is defended easily by Kleen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nasmfus tries to clinch but Kleen is having none of it. Nasmfus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nasmfus darts in trying to clinch and Kleen counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nasmfus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kleen.
Nasmfus throws a right and a left that both miss. Kleen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nasmfus manages to avoid it. Nasmfus is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kleen with a body shot. Kleen cracks a nice hook into Nasmfus's ribs. Nasmfus tries to clinch up. Nasmfus looks for a takedown but Kleen sprawls well. Kleen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kleen misses with a hook. Nasmfus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kleen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nasmfus wants to land a leg kick but Kleen is out of range. It looked like Kleen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nasmfus. Kleen with a hook. Kleen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nasmfus sprawling to the canvas! Nasmfus rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kleen finish him?!
Nasmfus is rocked! Kleen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nasmfus tries to clinch up. Nasmfus is still on wobbly legs! Can Kleen finish him? Kleen lands a right hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nasmfus closes the distance and clinches up with Kleen, looking for a takedown. Nasmfus pushes Kleen against the cage but Kleen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dan Kleen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bsmds Nasmfus. Kleen cracks Nasmfus with a hook to the temple - Nasmfus is on wobbly legs here! Kleen swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Nasmfus falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Kleen wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dan Kleen! Dan Kleen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
