Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill Bean!

Souza takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Souza takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bean moves out of range of the strikes.
A shot to the liver by Bean. Beautiful body shot.
Souza staying out of range there.
Bean lands an overhand right.
Souza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Souza moves out of range as Bean strikes.
Bean ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bean lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Souza moves away from the strike by Bean.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bean enables Souza to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bean manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bean is looking for a triangle but Souza pushes his legs off easily.
Souza tries to free his leg and advance position but Bean is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bean is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Souza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bean is keeping the position for now.

Souza is pushing down on Bean's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bean is fighting to maintain full guard but Souza has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bean wants to improve his position but Souza is controlling well.
Bean is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Souza is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Souza is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bean sees it coming and defends easily.
Bean looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Souza passes to side control.
Bean tries to bench press Souza off him but Souza keeps the position.

Souza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bean, who protects the arm well.
Bean is looking to reverse the position.
Souza tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Bean gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Souza seems to be looking for submissions.
Souza wants to pass the guard but Bean is defending well.
Bean is looking to improve his position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bean regains full guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bill Bean will probably get the nod.

Bean thows a left - swing and a miss!

Bean throws a shot from downtown. Souza moves away and avoids it.

Souza closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bean tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Souza has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bean tries to improve his position but instead Souza has taken his back!
Souza keeps control of the position as Bean tries to break free.
Bean breaks Souza's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Souza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bean defends it easily.
Bean passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Bean is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Souza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bean swings around for an armbar but Souza sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bean's guard.
Souza is pushing down on Bean's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bean is fighting to maintain full guard but Souza has managed to sneak the leg through.

Souza has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bean defend it? Souza steps over the head and cranks it - Bean is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Souza!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Heitor Souza!
Heitor Souza spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
