Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sal Gorchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phi Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phi Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sal Gorchev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phi Lee! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorchev scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lee wants to control but Gorchev is keeping busy.
Lee is looking to improve his position.
Lee is not content to let Gorchev control the position. Lee is controlling Gorchev's position as best he can from this difficult position. Lee wants to control but Gorchev is keeping busy.
Gorchev thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gorchev misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorchev is looking to clinch. Gorchev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gorchev prevents Lee from improving his position. Lee has a hand on Gorchev's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Gorchev takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gorchev controlling his opponent. Gorchev tries to control but Lee wriggling away. Gorchev avoids the attempt from Lee to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorchev prevents Lee from getting the reversal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gorchev can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee is looking to escape. Gorchev looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gorchev controlling the position easily from mount. Lee wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Lee preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Gorchev. Lee takes a big shot to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sal Gorchev dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gorchev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lee tries to clinch but Gorchev moves away and Gorchev counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that. Lee tries to buck Gorchev off but Gorchev is having none of it. Lee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gorchev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gorchev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gorchev controls the position. Gorchev tries to advance to mount but Lee denies him. Lee regains half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gorchev is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer. Lee wants to control but Gorchev is keeping busy.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorchev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head. Gorchev controlling the pace. Lee trying to control here.
Gorchev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Gorchev ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Gorchev throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily. Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lee sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gorchev keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorchev is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gorchev throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Gorchev looking for a sweep. Not yet Gorchev, not yet. Gorchev is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gorchev seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gorchev uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Gorchev wants to clinch. Gorchev throws out a powerful jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sal Gorchev dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Gorchev instigates a clinch. Gorchev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gorchev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gorchev has a takedown stuffed. Lee throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gorchev clinches with his opponent.
Lee wants to get back to striking at distance but Gorchev won't allow it.
Lee prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sal Gorchev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gorchev wants to stall.
Lee manages to break the clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gorchev, right into the meat.
Gorchev fails with the takedown and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Gorchev has a takedown stuffed. Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gorchev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorchev seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gorchev looking for a sweep. Not yet Gorchev, not yet. Lee trying to control but Gorchev is working from the bottom. Lee stopping the sweep attempt from Gorchev. Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gorchev, up you get! Gorchev darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorchev is looking for a kimura here.
Lee keeping control of the position. Phi Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gorchev wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee wants to control the action here but instead Gorchev manages to pass to full mount! Gorchev looking to control but Lee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sal Gorchev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Phi Lee. Well Gorchev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
