Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicklas Mattsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos has chosen Apaga mais nao bate as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in but no luck this time.
Mattsson misses with a head kick.
Mattsson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mattsson keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully.

Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mattsson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mattsson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Santos's guard.

Santos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mattsson's guard.
Santos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mattsson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Santos wants to stand but Mattsson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Mattsson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Santos is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mattsson defend it? Santos steps over the head and cranks it - Mattsson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Santos!
