Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micah Hawk (ranked 6305 p4p, 23145 weight class) and Hugo Olsen (ranked 567 p4p, 610 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micah Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugo Olsen!

Olsen forces Hawk back against the cage and clinches.

and Hawk counters with a nice uppercut.
Olsen dives in and grabs Hawk's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hawk pushes down on Olsen's head and hops out.

Hugo Olsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hawk is pressed up against the cage. Olsen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hawk down to the mat. Hawk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hugo Olsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hawk leaves Olsen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Olsen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hawk manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Olsen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hawk eats them both and turns towards Olsen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Olsen throws a series of punches but Hawk avoids them all with ease.

Hawk has his foot on Olsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Olsen works his way back into a safe position though.

Olsen closes the distance and clinches up with Hawk, looking for a takedown. Olsen pushes Hawk against the cage but Hawk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hawk tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hawk has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hawk is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Olsen is trying to escape and Hawk transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Olsen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hawk! Very nice indeed!
