Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Seeble (ranked 3156 p4p, 6873 weight class) and Douglas Cardozo (ranked 430 p4p, 656 weight class). Frank Seeble could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Douglas Cardozo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Seeble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Cardozo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

Cardozo dives in and scores a takedown into Seeble's guard.
Seeble doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Cardozo won't allow Seeble to sweep him here.
Seeble has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seeble working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cardozo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cardozo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cardozo wants to control from the top but Seeble keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cardozo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Seeble avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Seeble is trying to control the position but Cardozo postures up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Cardozo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cardozo feints the counter takedown.

Cardozo moves into range and clinches up with Seeble.
Cardozo displaying some good clinch control by pressing Seeble up against the cage.
Seeble stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Seeble's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cardozo misses with a takedown
and Seeble counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cardozo shoots in for a takedown but Seeble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cardozo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Seeble gets caught napping as Cardozo dives in and scores a takedown. Seeble manages to retain guard.

Cardozo wants to control from the top but Seeble keeps moving.

Seeble throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cardozo uses it to pass to side control.
Cardozo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Seeble's shoulder. That is not cool.

Cardozo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cardozo is looking to take a break and control but Seeble is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Seeble tries to improve position but can't.

The referee asks Cardozo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cardozo prefers to stall for the moment though.
Seeble tries to bench press Cardozo off him but Cardozo keeps the position.

Cardozo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Cardozo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Seeble hang on?
Cardozo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Cardozo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Seeble looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Cardozo has the hooks in. Seeble is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Cardozo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Seeble has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cardozo doesn't have the hooks in and Seeble manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Douglas Cardozo dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cardozo fails to land the takedown.
Seeble swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Douglas Cardozo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cardozo.
Cardozo drops his hands momentarily and Seeble takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cardozo moves out of range as Seeble strikes.

Cardozo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cardozo showed some decent athleticism there.
Cardozo not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Seeble wants to control but Cardozo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cardozo is looking for a kimura but Seeble is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cardozo to get the leverage.

Cardozo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Seeble is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Cardozo jumps into side control!
Seeble is looking for a sweep.
Seeble is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cardozo connects with a decent elbow.
Seeble can't do much from the bottom here.

Cardozo works to advance to full mount. Seeble defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Cardozo moves to back control.

Cardozo has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Seeble is defending well but eventually Cardozo manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Seeble has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
