The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! A much better position for St Pierre. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. St Pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. St Pierre looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. St Pierre has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lee should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, St Pierre has tightened it up now! Lee should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
