Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Carter (ranked 24931 p4p, 4880 weight class) and Daniel Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Daniel Goat was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wayne Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Goat! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.

Carter is looking to counter punch. Carter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goat but Goat pushes him off and we're back to square one. Goat tries for a takedown but Carter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Carter appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Carter fails in his attempt to clinch. Goat throws a body shot but no joy. Goat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carter wants it to stay on the feet. Goat with a poor takedown and Carter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carter. Goat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Goat scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carter doesn't seem bothered though. Carter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Goat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Goat, pushing him back against the cage. Goat gets underhooks to prevent Carter's takedown attempt.
Carter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Goat has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Carter uses from the top position. Carter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Carter won't allow Goat to get back to his feet. Carter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Carter with a nice head shot there. Carter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Carter with a flurry of punches that miss. Carter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Carter throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter drops back, looking for a kneebar! Goat looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Goat looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Goat!
Goat is trying to get an arm triangle but Carter is defending well. Carter is trying to control Goat's posture but Goat avoids it. Goat wants to control for a moment but Carter uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goat stalling away here and it's allowed Carter to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Goat wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving. Carter wants to sweep here but Goat controlling him for the moment. Goat throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Carter is trying to control the position but Goat postures up. Goat being controlled here momentarily. Goat engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Goat gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Carter. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Goat did well to prevent Carter getting side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wayne Carter dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Goat has a takedown stuffed. Goat misses with a takedown and Carter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Carter has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Goat uses from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goat stopping the sweep attempt from Carter. Carter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Goat can do to turn this around? Goat tries to free his leg and advance position but Carter is retaining full guard. Carter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carter tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Carter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Goat defends well. Carter wants to stand and escape but Goat is having none of it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Goat controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A punch combination from Carter misses. Goat feints the counter takedown. Goat avoids the head kick by Carter.
Carter darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Goat manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goat isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Carter stacks Goat on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Carter! Goat is breathing heavily. Carter cracks Goat with an elbow. That is naaassty. Goat is trying to control Carter's posture but Carter avoids it. Goat tries to bench press Carter off him but Carter keeps the position. Carter decides to stand back up. Carter steps back and let's Goat get back to his feet. Carter tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter goes for a double leg but Goat avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goat continues to drive forward. Goat takes one on the button. Carter darts in and clinches Goat up against the cage. Carter is pressed up against the cage. Goat has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carter down to the mat. Carter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wayne Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Goat. Carter clinches up with Goat and pushes him back against the cage. Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carter moves in looking to clinch but Goat pushes him off. Goat gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Carter counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Goat! Goat is looking for a sweep. Carter working the head with strikes. Carter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Goat knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carter is looking to take a break and control but Goat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carter is trying to get an arm triangle but Goat is defending well. Wayne Carter dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Carter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Goat. Carter tries to clinch up but Goat circles away and keeps his distance. Goat shoots in but no luck this time. Goat takes a shot right to the bread basket. Carter lands a left and a right that send Goat crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Daniel Goat has been cut. Carter feints and as Goat raises his hands in defense, Carter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Goat working a defensive guard but Carter manages to pass into side control anyway.
Carter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Goat some visible discomfort.
Carter moves into full mount! Carter landing punches. Goat takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Carter landing strikes, looking to finish!
Goat is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Goat is still in real trouble! Can Carter finish him? Goat is squirming around, avoiding Carter's attempts to control the action. Goat seems to have recovered his senses. Carter unloading with bombs! Oooooh, big shot lands for Carter! Goat is hurt baaadly! Carter is firing away with more strikes - Goat is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayne Carter!
