The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.

Wallace misses with a double jab.

and Reali counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Reali.
Wallace wants to get back to striking at distance but Reali won't allow it.
Reali tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wallace just stands there and leans against the cage.

Reali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wallace lands a jab to the head.
A head kick misses from Wallace.
Reali wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Julian Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reali.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leone Reali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reali dodges the punch combination from Wallace.
Wallace loads up on a big right hand but Reali slips the punch.
Reali tries to counter with a takedown but Wallace is quick to defend against it.

Reali chips away with some ground and pound.
Reali pushes down on Wallace's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reali in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reali works his way into side control.
Reali moves into full mount!
Reali landing strikes from the mount.
Wallace tries to control the position but Reali now has his back.

Wallace prevents Reali from getting a body triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reali is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Wallace is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Reali.
Reali tries to keep control of the position but Wallace is staying busy.
Reali is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Reali gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Reali gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Reali apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Reali shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense.
Wallace cracks Reali with a good jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wallace throws a sloppy head kick and Reali moves out of range easily.

Reali seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wallace darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Reali is rocked!
Wallace shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Reali takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Wallace sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Reali bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Julian Wallace!
