This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 12 losses; Azar Qasi! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Bo Nickal ! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Nickal displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Qasi. Qasi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nickal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Qasi sprawls well initially but Nickal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
