The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Plant darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage. Lee gets a trip takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lee (2) vs (0) Plant Plant wants to control but Lee is keeping busy.
Lee uses his free foot to push down on Plant's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Plant. Score +3 for passing guard: Lee (5) vs (0) Plant Plant is looking to get to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plant is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Lee locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Plant is forced to tap!
