Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rod De Minaur (ranked 1915 p4p, 2040 weight class) and Chris Stevens (ranked 233 p4p, 247 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Minaur might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Seek and Destroy . Chris Stevens acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rod De Minaur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Stevens! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by De Minaur there. De Minaur looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. De Minaur fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. De Minaur dips to his left and cracks Stevens with an uppercut! Stevens misses the shot to the body. A quick step to the side and De Minaur tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. De Minaur misses with a body shot.
Stevens misses with a hook. De Minaur scores with a decent looking hook. De Minaur tests Stevens's chin there with a solid looking shot. Stevens takes a swing at De Minaur's ribcage but misses. De Minaur takes a shot right to the bread basket. De Minaur throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little jabbing left from Stevens on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Stevens fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Minaur manages to avoid it. This has been an exciting period of action! De Minaur jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
De Minaur lands a jab to Stevens's midsection. De Minaur scores with the left hand. Stevens knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Minaur lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Stevens is rocked! Stevens fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. De Minaur throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Stevens crashing down! Stevens tries to stagger back to his feet but De Minaur just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Stevens asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rod De Minaur! A victorious Rod De Minaur thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
