Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Nycz (ranked 1858 p4p, 2715 weight class) and Sausage Pizza (ranked 72 p4p, 102 weight class). Pizza has chosen Koo Koo Kanga Roo - All I Eat Is Pizza as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Nycz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sausage Pizza! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

Nycz dives in and scores a takedown into Pizza's guard. Nycz postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nycz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nycz throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pizza managing to control the position. Nycz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pizza is trying to keep Nycz in close.
Pizza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nycz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nycz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nycz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nycz lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pizza looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pizza utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pizza holds on and takes a little breather. Nycz working some strikes from top position. Pizza keeping moving, preventing Nycz from controlling successfully. Pizza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nycz distracts Pizza with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nycz accidentally thumps the mat. Nycz stopping the sweep attempt from Pizza. Nycz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nycz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nycz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pizza controls Nycz momentarily but Nycz frees himself. Nycz working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Nycz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pizza keeping moving, preventing Nycz from controlling successfully. Pizza preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've been hearing that Nycz has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Nycz is looking to work some ground and pound but Pizza has wrist control. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Pizza's coach down at High Kicks was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pizza's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Nycz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pizza as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nycz shoots in and drives through. Pizza sprawls well. Nycz moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromPizza. Nycz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pizza on his heels. He'll look to pass Pizza's guard now, I'm sure. Nycz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pizza works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nycz throws a strike but Pizza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nycz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pizza is controlling him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jan Nycz dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Nycz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pizza counters with a head kick that drops Nycz to the mat! Nycz scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Pizza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jan Nycz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nycz fails with the takedown. Nycz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pizza circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Nycz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nycz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pizza is fending him off so far but Nycz persists. Nope, Pizza circles away and we're back to standing. Nycz with a lazy takedown attempt and Pizza counters with a monster head kick that knocks Nycz out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sausage Pizza! Sausage Pizza very nearly forgot to thank Concrete Clothing (Laundry Re Stock Coming Soon) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
