Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Niaz (ranked 4214 p4p, 3736 weight class) and Kobe Pace (ranked 456 p4p, 420 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dick Niaz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dick Niaz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

A nice leg kick lands there from Pace.
Pace throws a solid leg kick but Niaz takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pace.
Niaz changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Niaz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pace for as long as he can get away with.
Niaz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pace is just riding it out for now. Niaz eventually gives up the hold.
Pace pushes Niaz off looking to stand but Niaz dives back in and keeps control.
