Williams tries to clinch up
so Benderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Benderson on the ground.
Williams wants to stand and escape but Benderson is having none of it.
Benderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williams's guard.
Williams is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Navy Street MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Benderson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Williams!

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Williams looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Benderson! Submission of the night perhaps?

Dale Benderson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
