Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Farto Fuerte (ranked 5667 p4p, 2125 weight class) and Sey La Vie (ranked 217 p4p, 95 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
La Vie throws a lazy body kick

It looked like Fuerte was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from La Vie.

No joy there for Fuerte, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

La Vie scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Fuerte to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Fuerte doesn't manage to clinch there - La Vie circles away.
La Vie jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fuerte is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A nice side step and La Vie releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Farto Fuerte.
