Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jay Cartwright (ranked 2754 p4p, 2929 weight class) and Gauthier Delisle (ranked 155 p4p, 160 weight class). Gauthier Delisle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Cartwright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gauthier Delisle! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delisle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cartwright's guard. Cartwright tries to land a sweep but no joy. Delisle passes Cartwright's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cartwright is looking to improve his position.
Cartwright is pressing down on Delisle's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Delisle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Cartwright is looking for a triangle but Delisle pushes his legs off easily.
Cartwright seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Delisle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Delisle advances position into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here. Let's hope that Delisle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Cartwright manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! That's one minute gone in the round. Delisle gets full guard. Delisle keeping moving, preventing Cartwright from controlling successfully. Delisle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cartwright manages to get himself to full guard.
Delisle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cartwright's guard. Delisle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cartwright doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Delisle. Cartwright looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Delisle wants to work for an arm triangle but Cartwright is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Delisle is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delisle controlling the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delisle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cartwright defends it well. Delisle is working for a kimura but Cartwright is defending it quite comfortably.
Delisle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cartwright with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Delisle maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Cartwright could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Delisle has cracked it and Cartwright is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Delisle!
