Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tapu Koko!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.

Koko drives through and clinches with Steel against the cage.
Koko is pressed up against the cage. Steel has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Koko down to the mat. Koko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Koko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steel throws out the jab.
Steel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Koko to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Daniel Steel has been cut.
Koko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Koko's jab looks to have found its range, popping Steel under the eye.
Koko tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance.
It looked like Steel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Koko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Koko stuffs the takedown attempt from Steel. Steel gets slowly back to his feet.
Steel looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Koko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steel was well out of range. Poor timing from Koko.
Koko misses with an uppercut. Steel saw that one coming.
Steel swats away the attempt to clinch by Koko.
Steel swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Steel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koko swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Steel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Koko cracks Steel with a hook to the temple - Steel is on wobbly legs here! Koko swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Steel falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Koko wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tapu Koko!
After winning the bout, Tapu Koko thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
