Knox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Knox paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Knox catches Beukeboom with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Knox scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Bill Beukeboom has been cut.
Knox throws a right and a left that Beukeboom avoids nicely.
Knox moves away from the strike by Beukeboom.
Knox fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

The fighters circle momentarily. Knox darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Beukeboom lands a big uppercut and Knox crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Knox looks OK. Beukeboom waves Knox back to his feet!

Beukeboom cracks Knox with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Knox tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Beukeboom pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Knox is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Beukeboom!
