Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Keane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and srsly dontcare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dontcare has chosen Life Burns by Apocalyptica as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! dontcare crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Keane - the referee stops the clock and dontcare gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Keane. dontcare manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
dontcare has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Keane.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Keane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but dontcare can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
dontcare looking to sit in guard and control but Keane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
dontcare controls Keane momentarily but Keane frees himself.
dontcare wants to sweep here but Keane controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
dontcare is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Keane has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of dontcare is proving hard to escape from.
dontcare seems keen to control Keane's posture.
Keane won't allow dontcare to sweep him here.
dontcare is trying to hold Keane in close to prevent damage but Keane has managed to pass into half guard.
dontcare is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Keane's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Keane's back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

dontcare is striking well from the back but Keane escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Padraig Keane.
