Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dude Burger (ranked 5431 p4p, 6195 weight class) and Gerald Champlain (ranked 526 p4p, 549 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gerald Champlain!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Champlain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burger as he avoids it easily.

Champlain lands a left hand that snaps the head of Burger backwards.

Champlain swings wildly with an uppercut but Burger uses good head movement to avoid it.

Champlain lands an uppercut that drops Burger! Champlain follows him to the canvas looking to finish.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Champlain lands a huge shot from side control! Burger is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gerald Champlain!
Gerald Champlain decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
