PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John McCain (ranked 1303 p4p, 3213 weight class) and Alejandro Sepulveda (ranked 72 p4p, 170 weight class). McCain comes to the cage accompanied by Anywhere I Go. Sepulveda is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lady Gaga - Alejandro. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 26 - 2, fighting out of New York, Alejandro Sepulveda!

McCain has closed the distance and engaged Sepulveda in a clinch.

Sepulveda got a little sloppy there for a moment and McCain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sepulveda has managed to get both his arms back between McCain's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that John McCain will probably get the nod.

McCain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sepulveda can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John McCain.
