Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Valentine (ranked 1085 p4p, 1114 weight class) and Doug Bell (ranked 127 p4p, 132 weight class). Valentine comes to the ring accompanied by Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Doug Bell enters the ring!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bell throws a right hand that misses
and Valentine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bell shoots in but Valentine avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bell throws the left hand but Valentine avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valentine throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bell drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Valentine defends it well.
Bell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bell tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

It looks like Doug Bell has been cut.
Valentine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Remy Valentine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Despite the aggression on Bell's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Bell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Valentine went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Valentine connects with a crisp jab.

Bell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Valentine blocks a head kick by Bell.
A little feinted left hand from Valentine on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Valentine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Remy Valentine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Bell.
A big left from Bell misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Valentine uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bell.

Bell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Valentine.

Valentine ducks straight into an uppercut from Bell and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Valentine manages to regain guard straight away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bell loads up on a big left hand. Valentine felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bell looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Valentine can't hide his disappointment, as Bell celebrates the victory.
