Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dom Cruz (ranked 457 p4p, 497 weight class) and Sambulo Yeboah (ranked 29 p4p, 32 weight class). Yeboah has chosen Lionel Richie - All Night Long as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz lands with a nice combination. Yeboah backs away looking to recover.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Cruz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cruz leaves Yeboah with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cruz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cruz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Cruz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yeboah is bucking up trying to escape but Cruz cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Yeboah takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Cruz's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
