Fuerte thuds his right hand into Steele's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fuerte. Steele does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fuerte rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steele moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fuerte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Steele.
Fuerte tries to close the distance and clinch but Steele swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fuerte tries to bum rush Steele with a series of wild strikes but Steele uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Steele misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fuerte.
Fuerte stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fuerte wants it to stay on the feet.
Steele blocks a head kick by Fuerte.
No joy there for Fuerte, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A little jabbing left from Steele on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Steele gets tackled into the cage by Fuerte. Fuerte maintains the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steele scores with a nice hook to the head.
We've been hearing reports that Fuerte has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Steele creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Fuerte's defenses.
Fuerte throws a knee to the head but misses.

Fuerte swings wildly with an uppercut but Steele uses good head movement to avoid it.
Steele pushes Fuerte back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Steele tries to land knees in the clinch but Fuerte avoids the damage to the body.

Fuerte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Steele lands with a kick to the temple. Fuerte shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Fuerte lands a left and a right that send Steele crashing to the mat, dazed. Fuerte thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fuerte rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steele moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Steele shoots in for a takedown but Fuerte shows good takedown defense.
Farto Fuerte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Steele.
Fuerte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Steele tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Steele misses the shot to the body.
A head kick from Steele lands but Fuerte takes it in his stride.
Fuerte lands with a right and another and another! Steele is in big trouble! Fuerte lands again and this time it's lights out for Steele! A quality knockout there for Fuerte.
