Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rothco (ranked 2161 p4p, 1023 weight class) and Sammy Beach (ranked 294 p4p, 152 weight class). Sammy Beach has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Rothco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Beach! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beach on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A cross from Beach lands. Beach misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rothco.
Beach misses with an uppercut. Rothco saw that one coming. Beach misses with a looping right. Nice body punch from Rothco. Beach fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rothco on the side of the head. Rothco takes a swing at Beach's ribcage but misses. Beach looks to land a right hand but Rothco moved out of range. Beach connects with a jab.
It looks like Frank Rothco has been cut. Beach looks to score with a jab to the body but Rothco is just out of range. We've been told by Rothco's head coaches at Blanc Fitness Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Beach takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Rothco avoids the body shot from Beach.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rothco scores with a leg kick.
Beach moves out of range as Rothco throws a body kick.
Rothco lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Beach wants to clinch up but Rothco keeps it at a distance. Rothco takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rothco throws a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beach tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rothco counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rothco misses with a body shot.
Beach wants to counter the offense by Rothco and move into the clinch position. Beach scores with a punch to the head. Beach's coach down at Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Beach's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Rothco misses the shot to the body. Beach tries to clinch but Rothco moves out of range. Beach scores with a shot to the body.
Rothco lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Beach misses with a hook to the body
and Rothco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rothco circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rothco avoids the body shot from Beach.
Sammy Beach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rothco has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rothco there as he acknowledges the shot. Beach connects with a combination that backs up Rothco into the cage. Beach lands a flurry of punches that gets past Rothco's guard. Rothco is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Beach bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
