Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Schwarzenbergersteiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yedo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schwarzenbergersteiner comes to the cage accompanied by ???. Kim is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johan Schwarzenbergersteiner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yedo Kim!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzenbergersteiner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.


It looks like Johan Schwarzenbergersteiner has been cut.
Schwarzenbergersteiner takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kim lands with a kick to the ribs.
Schwarzenbergersteiner is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kim punishes Schwarzenbergersteiner's body with a nice straight punch.
Schwarzenbergersteiner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kim defends it nicely.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kim.
Kim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kim lands a nice hook to Schwarzenbergersteiner's body. Schwarzenbergersteiner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Schwarzenbergersteiner takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Kim drops Schwarzenbergersteiner with a big left hand and mounts him. Schwarzenbergersteiner is in big trouble!

Kim prevents Schwarzenbergersteiner from getting the reversal.
Schwarzenbergersteiner is working hard here to advance position.
Kim is looking to work his way around to Schwarzenbergersteiner's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Kim is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Schwarzenbergersteiner is in real trouble.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
I would not like to be Schwarzenbergersteiner right now.
Kim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schwarzenbergersteiner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Schwarzenbergersteiner tries to escape but Kim has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Schwarzenbergersteiner turns into Kim and is now in his guard.

Kim is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kim is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Schwarzenbergersteiner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Schwarzenbergersteiner is looking to work some ground and pound but Kim has wrist control.
Kim wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Yedo Kim just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kim scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A head kick lands from Kim that sends Schwarzenbergersteiner to the canvas. Schwarzenbergersteiner tries to scramble back to his feet but Kim brings him back down into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Schwarzenbergersteiner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kim controlling his opponent.
Kim's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Schwarzenbergersteiner seems to have got his legs back now.

Kim stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Kim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kim thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Schwarzenbergersteiner if he has to take too many more of those.
Kim connects with a single shot there.
Kim scores with a kick to the midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yedo Kim dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Johan Schwarzenbergersteiner's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Schwarzenbergersteiner with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kim to score with a decent uppercut.
Kim throws a body kick that misses.

Kim gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kim not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Schwarzenbergersteiner postures up in Kim's guard and throws a big left but Kim blocks it.
Kim pulls Schwarzenbergersteiner in close to his closed guard and prevents Schwarzenbergersteiner from doing any damage or advancing position.
Schwarzenbergersteiner throws a strike but Kim rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Schwarzenbergersteiner wants to sweep but no luck.

Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schwarzenbergersteiner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Schwarzenbergersteiner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kim is one step ahead there.
Kim sitting in guard here, content to control.
Schwarzenbergersteiner is trying to keep Kim in close.
Kim wants to control from the top but Schwarzenbergersteiner keeps moving.
Kim controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Kim gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Schwarzenbergersteiner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Schwarzenbergersteiner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kim defends it nicely.
Kim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kim thows a body shot but no joy.
Kim jabs at Schwarzenbergersteiner's body.
Kim lands a body shot.
Yedo Kim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kim lands a slapping body shot.
Kim is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Schwarzenbergersteiner rather than just go for the knockout.
Kim fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Schwarzenbergersteiner on the side of the head.

Kim bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Johan Schwarzenbergersteiner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schwarzenbergersteiner looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kim lands a right hand from hell, dropping Schwarzenbergersteiner. Kim pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
